OPERATING PRINCIPLE
ICEBAT acts like a battery that can be loaded and unloaded as required
LOAD MODE
To load the system, glycoled water at negative temperature is passed through the heat exchangers
Ice forms around the heat exchanger tubes
UNLOAD MODE
To unload, glycoled water at a positive temperature (refrigerant) passes through these same heat exchangers, recovering the calories released by the melting ice
