OPERATING PRINCIPLE
ICEBAT acts like a battery that can be charged and discharged as required
LOAD MODE
Loading is carried out in the same way as for an ICEBAT with internal or external melt.
To load the system, glycoled water at negative temperature is passed through the heat exchangers
Ice forms around the heat exchanger tubes
UNLOAD MODE
This type of ICEBAT combines internal and external melt.
To unload:
Glycol water at a positive temperature passes through the heat exchangers
(Internal melt)
It recovers the frigories released by melting ice via our heat exchangers. Glycol water is used as the refrigerant

The chilled water flows around the positive-temperature exchangers
(External melt)
It recovers the cold released by melting ice. Water from melting ice is used as the refrigerant.
