FAFCO SAS is proud to have presented, in collaboration with Dalkia and S.U.C (Société Urbaine de Climatisation), latent storage to engineering students at INSA Strasbourg specialising in ‘Thermal, Energy & Environmental Engineering’.
These future engineers are completing their final year of training at COSTIC (Scientific and Technical Committee for Climate Industries).
The visit to the district cooling network is exceptional: the S.U.C. network operated by Dalkia provides +120 MW of cooling capacity over more than 10 km of cooling district around the La Défense district (Courbevoie & Puteaux).
On the agenda:
✅ Presentation of the La Défense district cooling network
✅ Tour of the Gambetta production plant, which is linked to the 32 MWh ❄ FAFCO SAS latent storage facility to ensure the flexibility and security of the network.
✅ Tour of the Alsace production plant and its 5, 8 and 20 MW centrifugal cooling units.
A big thank you to Dalkia, Nicolas Krauze and his teams for taking the time to share their passion for cooling and energy efficiency with the new generation of climate engineers 🌎 🌱
